These two-day training courses on energy storage essentials are intended for professionals wishing to acquire a comprehensive overview of grid-connected energy storage and energy storage systems, and to have the latest technology, market conditions and issues clearly explained. Energy markets in relation to energy storage, the role of storage in providing flexibility to solve intermittency issues in the grid, business models, performance indicators, warranties, safety, risks and risk mitigation are covered. 

If you would like to participate in this training, but you cannot or do not want to travel for certain reasons, you can also join the entire live classroom training as a remote participant.

Various locations  
This course is offered as open enrollment session at various locations; Arnhem (the Netherlands), London (UK), Dubai (UAE) and Singapore. General content of the courses will be the same, but country specific information can be included, so please check the different course leaflets for more detailed information on the exact course content. Arnhem course-specific information
In the Arnhem course DNV GL will provide you with European and some local examples. The course will cover in the energy storage landscape and overview of grid-connected energy storage technologies. The second day will focus on lithium-ion technology in the technical, safety, market and business cases sessions.

Singapore course-specific information
In the Singapore course DNV GL will provide you with international and some local examples. 

London course-specific information
The London course will cover the same general topics as the Arnhem course, however, DNV GL will provide you with UK specific examples.

Dubai course-specific information   
In the Dubai course DNV GL will provide you with general topics such as the energy storage landscape, designing energy storage systems and the role of energy storage. On the second course day the afternoon session will focus on enabling energy storage in the GCC countries, delving deeper into the role of the governments, regulatory drivers and risks. International examples and lessons learned will be shared as well.
